MinstrelWallEye Productions was established in 1998 to begin work on the debut feature film by Marco Zaffino The Veranda (Awarded Best Foreign Feature at Los Angeles IIFF 2002). We are now in our fifth year and after making a second feature called The Vendetta in 2003, (currently in the distribution phase), we are developing our third film Spoken By Crowds. Interest is growing around the authentic and sometimes unique practices from executives, cast and crew the world over, from New York and LA, Toronto to Roma and Paris, as far a field as Semarang, Indonesia.

An innovative and unyielding approach has made it possible to develop, produce and screen these films, to a very high standard, for very little money, using professional and non-professional cast and crew. The results have beyond our expectations and with such interest from outside parties and from such enthusiasm from a growing number of potential MWE participants, we hope to expand dramatically, within the strong boundaries of creative and ethical spirit already created within our company.

Three more features are ready to be fully developed and made. Spoken By Crowds is the next film to go into production. To be approximately 95 minutes (see treatment for details of story). To be made on HQ Digital Video.
The next films will be made on film: The Charcoal Builder, 16mm B&W with some colour scenes. And 35mm High Definition Fuji film for We Are Hoodwinks, a film that should rock many boats.
