Hello, thought i could just say a couple of things as the edit trim is rendered. Upto 63minutes. Just cut a couple of scenes before coffee at coffeevolution. Scene 32 is there ni the visual rough cut. Although my obsessive head stops the rough cut being much more than a frame or two out every now and then.

Things are looking beautiful, although without the sound, foley adr and music it is rough, beautiful but rough.

Soon the musicians will be invited for a screening and then even more excitment and deliberation and creativity happens. So bloody exciting...

I have an edit cough from late nights... which is unfortunate so I shall try and sleep a bit later.

I hope you are all well and your own projects are killing you too, exciting the bollocks off of you and keeping you on your toes.
love to you all..m

Firstly, bloody good wrap party. I haven't been that drunk in ages, but The Lady in Red gets the prize for the most drunk person that night.
Secondly, anyone seen Marco? He's become a hermit to the world of the edit, and working bloody hard he is too. And, judging by the little pieces he keeps giving me to color correct, this film is going to look wonderful.
Thirdly, I've started putting up some images from the rushes on the web-site. Do go and have a look...

Always worth a visit, the excitment from this blog is infectious and can brighten the dullest day

It feels a while and as any who has had me type anything to them may have noticed my writing, as an editor sounds a little Captain T. Kirk-y... so bare with me...

already upto 32 minutes on the visual rough edit. Going at quite a pace. The footage looks truly amazing. I am really proud of us all. GEEZ! we did well. I mean really. The acting is beautiful, the camera work lovely, rob, my eye for composition is not too bad either, if I may say so and well if it keeps at this level I may well be a very proud man !!!

The party is soon. I can't wait to see everyone.

Just captured the voice overs of SARA (Zarathustress) as Part III of the edit begins. Montage to introduce young Jenny...

When I am doing anything other than editing, I wonder why I am not editing. Days are becoming a little blurred. Watching rushes, a weird melancholy experience, editing euphoric. Walks to cafes to relax while cursing lack of energy and happiness, to beautiful bohemian moments in bars while designing bloody fashion shoots in a kitsch goth stylee! quite a magical time....

beam me up, i'm almost done on this side
