The edit room is so close to bein ga shiatsu room again. Weird.
The bedroom has a baby, a wife and two pcs now. Should begin running off vhs screeners soon as vhs is very easily screenable everywhere and then dvds won't be long.

What you all upto?
I'm doing some fashion fotos soon, all being well, and preparing the long hall of the next movie. 4 to choose from. Should be trying to gain funds and all that. I think I may be asking the studios and distributors which they'd choose. See if any are interested early and gain advice. But it'll be an interesting long journey.
There's also an Italian Holiday I took as a five year old Sara wants to produce as a film, which could be interesting. Young memories in a foreign homeland and all that. Picnics in car parks, weird cousins and family, explosions and phobias. And a script I may write to sell about a walk and someones life told therein... and not make myself as it's far too soft and human a story for me not to turn into some weird blood fest...

It's strange to be tidying up my edit room, ready for shiatsu once more. The only thing that may occur is beta sp transfer if they do 120 minute betas.
Joe hold that thought with transfers to NTSC you could be called with a mission.
But Nik has the film now and is testing transcodes and all a dat kind a stuff. And Media packs and ...
I'm doing dvd covers and thinking to the future as if I hang on the anti climax of finishing an art piece it hurts like a bitch.
But I keep watching the movie we did and am very proud of us all. Fuck this was done for nothing and it has moments of epic proportions and I don't mean the contents of Joe's pants. Or Carls.
We did something very cool. Well done Us!!!

Congratulations to everybody, but especially Marco for taking the initiative to do something that most people can only wish they could do. Good job on pulling it off on a tight budget too, ever thought about selling your soul and becoming a producer?
Frankly Marco, if I were you I would write a script about this. It is perfect, weddings, babies, a rag tag crew of misfits and simpletons* and an almost impossible task to create a beautiful film with little other than a bunch of people who you got to believe in the same dream (and who didn't have a lot else to do that summer). It could be a heartwarming British underdog movie in the vein of Brassed off or the Full Monte.
So, er, anyway, not to be a git but I just want to let you know Marco that just because you have finished the film it does not mean that I will stop asking you when, only now it is going to be when is the premiere instead of when is the final edit. By the way if you still want me to get it transfered onto an NTSC digi-beta for you.
* I dont think we are simpletons but its a great phrase isn't it? misfits and simpletons. Could work it into the blurb on the back of the dvd box when its done.
